Nightlife Services

Personalised, Flexible, Accessible

Nightlife services are uniquely tailored to each person’s needs. Nightlife support services provide people with a sense of security, privacy and back up emergency night support.

The type of support people receive from Nightlife is as varied as the people using the service, and is uniquely tailored to each person’s needs and circumstance.

People are supported for a maximum of one hour at a time (unless it is an emergency) to enable constant availability of Mobile Support Workers to other service users.

Nightlife services may include:

  • a broad range of personal care tasks that the person is unable to do themselves, as well as small tasks that may give the person or their family a restful, comfortable night’s sleep. Such tasks may include plugging in a person’s wheelchair-charger, assisting a person to bed after they have been out for the evening, turning, administration of fluids, medication etc.
  • Nightlife can be called if a person is working, studying or going out for the evening and wish to leave a function when they are ready rather than having to pre-book support and be home in bed prior to 10pm (as with most current traditional support options).
  • People can ring and request support throughout the night without having to pre-book support in advance, thus creating a highly responsive service. However if people require regular support at certain times every night or perhaps once per week this could be pre booked, E.g. for regular work/study commitments.
  • Nightlife may also provide a back up for people whose regular agency staff don’t turn up to assist them to bed.

Quality Control

Nightlife incorporates comprehensive quality control and seeks client feedback frequently. In this way Nightlife ensures that the service is responsive to individual user needs and service development is consumer driven.
